Changing Names in the Windows Guest Account

In Windows we often see a user account created by default by Windows. User name is Guest Account. Guest account is normally used by users who tida possessed an account on that computer, but want to access the computer. Aaccount administrtor guest has no rights on the computer. Maybe you want to change the computer Administartor guest account name is. However, if the name of the Guest account can be changed?

Can. You can still change the name on your Windows Guest account. Both Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7. With a little trick Guest account can be changed. Here are the steps:

1. Open the Control Panel »» Permomance and Maintenance »» Administartive Tools »» Local Security Policy

2. In the Local Security Policy window, click Local node Policy »» Security Options.

3. Then on the right side of the window looking for the item named Accounts: Rename Guest Account. After the meet click two times (double click) the item.

4. Furthermore, a window will appear Accounts: Rename Guest Account Properties. Change the name of the guest account with the name you want. For example: My Guest.

5. Click OK to save changes.

Everything is finished up here. Now try to open the User Accounts window via Contorl Panel »» User Account. The name of the guest account has been changed to the name you want this.
